WHY CDS CABINET CO.?

In keeping with the philosophy of our interior design studio, Choux Designs, we aim to partner with brands that reflect our values of quality, timelessness, and sustainability. When we found ourselves limited by the design constraints of many cabinet suppliers, we set out to find a manufacturer who truly understood our need for creativity, flexibility, and craftsmanship.

CDS Cabinet Co. was founded with the goal of partnering with the finest cabinet makers to offer our clients a range of styles, custom capabilities, and price points. While we love designing custom inset cabinetry, we understand that budget and space constraints often shape the final direction. To meet a variety of needs, we proudly work with Crystal Cabinet Works—one of the largest fully custom cabinet manufacturers in the U.S.—as well as select local artisans for truly tailored solutions.

• Crystal Cabinet Works. A family-run company based in Minnesota, has been building exceptional cabinetry since 1947—so it’s safe to say they know a thing or two about their craft. Their customer service and design support are unmatched, and true to their Midwest roots, the team is as kind as they are capable. Partnering with Crystal allows CDS Cabinet Co. to offer our clients a wide range of construction styles, custom capabilities, and price points—all backed by quality craftsmanship. Simply put, there’s not much Crystal can’t build for us.

• Local Cabinet Artisans. Over the years, our design studio has partnered with local woodworkers and cabinet shops when on-site construction is required—whether it's a cabinet that can’t fit around the corner of an 1890s townhome or a custom curved banquette that needs to be built in place. For these unique situations, we collaborate with skilled local artisans who not only bring exceptional craftsmanship but also respect and understand our design vision. Working with them is both seamless and rewarding.
